How does Pantalone turn his money into bitcoin in the middle of the 15th century? Will Arlecchino ever take a shower? And how will Columbina save the day (yet again)?
All these important questions are answered in this one hour show

This fully costumed production is set in front of a Venetian backdrop and performed by 2 actoors wearing masks by Antonio Fava.

This is a character demonstration performed by one actor which introduces students to 5 Commedia dell' arte characters through a style of Commedia called 'Gabrielliana'.
This is NOT a show, but a presentation of characters followed by a Q&A with the actor. Teachers may specify which Commedia characters they would like demonstrated or leave it to the Fools to decide who pops out to introduce themselves.

Go behind the scenes of a theatre company without leaving your school with this insightful, informative, interesting and entertaining 1 hour presentation which examines the production process Commedia dell'arte created and that is still in use to this day. With a brief history of the style, and modern examples for context students develop an appreciation for the significance Commedia dell'arte still holds in modern theatre, film and televison, Discovering why Commedia dell'arte is the extreme theatre sport! and how to use it as a template for developing a performance from page to stage.
Since Fools In Progress now has resident troupes in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne, we can draw from the incredible talent of up to 8 actors all with specific expertise in Commedia dell'arte as well as their own individual skills and abilities.
